Explore the Town on Foot: Manali is best explored on foot. The bus will drop you right at the main Manali market from where you can take a half-an-hour walk up to Vashist temple or old Manali with its lovely roads, sweet little eateries and small kitschy marketplaces (sentence is long. you can break it up into two.
